Heavy Metal Mercury Detoxification Protocol Chlorella supplementation guidelines: gradually increase the dosage of chlorella to the highest tolerated level. The tolerated level can range from ½ to up to 14 capsules a day. Symptoms to indicate you have exceeded your tolerated level include nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, flu like illness, headache, etc. If you tolerate a low level of chlorella, this suggests you have increased levels of mercury inside the cells. No more than 14 capsules of chlorella a day should be taken initially. Stay on the highest tolerated level dose the first eight days. One days nine and ten, take 10 times the tolerated level dose that was taken on the first eight days, but no more than 60 capsules per day. Stop all chlorella supplementation on days 11 and 12 and then start the cycle over. Chlorella is to be taken with meals in divided dosages. Garlic titration therapy:
Find the highest tolerated garlic dose, just under the “smell detection
level.” Garlic should be taken with meals in divided dosages. Garlic can
remove mercury from the central nervous system and generally excretes it
through the kidneys.

A Few Scientific Facts About Mercury, Amalgams, and Disease
Definition
& Symptoms of (Chronic) Mercury Poisoning / Toxicity Dorland's Medical Dictionary: "Mercury Poisoning: acute/chronic disease caused by mercury and its salts... The chronic form, due to absorption by the skin and mucous membranes, inhalation of vapors, or ingestion of mercury salts, is marked by stomatitis, metallic taste in the mouth, a blue line along the border of the gum, sore hypertrophied gums that bleed easily, loosening of the teeth, erethism (that is psychological disturbances/Mad Hatter's Disease), secretion o saliva, termors and incoordination." Micro-mercurialism has NO does-response relationship (minute dose may cause life-threatening response).
The Merck Manual says: Mercury Poisoning: Chronic Symptoms: Gingivitis, Mental Distrubances and Neurological Deficits. For an Inhaled Poison (vapor): remove patient from contaminated environment and protect helpers. [We dentists, were NOT taught to protect ourselves or others from the ravages of mercury vapor poisoning. Indeed, we were taught that the mercury is "locked into" the filling--would that it were!] The following is a partial list of about 80 symptoms (out of over 200 known symptoms) taken from: 1. Oettingen, W.F. Poisoning: A Guide to Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment. W.B. Saunders Co. Philadelphia, 1958 2. Environmental Health Criteria 1, Mercury. World Health Organization, Geneva 1976
Elemental
Mercury Vapor Exposure 1. Psychological Disturbances (Erethism) Irritability; Nervousness Shyness or timidity Loss of memory Lack of attention Loss of self-confidence Decline of intellect Lack of self control Fits of anger Depression; Anxiety Drowsiness; Insomnia 2.
Oral Cavity Disorders Bleeding Gums Alveolar bone loss Loosening of teeth Excessive salivation Foul breath Metallic taste Leukoplakia = white patches Gingivitis = inflamed gums Stomatitis = inflamed mouth Ulceration of gums, palate, tongue Burning sensation in mouth/throat Tissue pigmentation 3.
Gastrointestinal Effects Abdominal cramps Constipation or diarrhea GI & digestion problems & colitis 4.
Systemic Effects - Cardiovascular Irregular heartbeat > tachycardia, brady Feeble and irregular pulse Alterations in blood pressure Pain or pressure in chest 5.
Systemic Effects - Neurological Chronic or frequent headaches Dizziness; Ringing or noises in ears Fine tremor > hand, feet, lip, eyes, tongue 6.
Systemic Effects - Respiratory Persistent cough; Emphysema Shallow or irregular respiration 7.
Systemic Effects - Immunological Allergies; Asthma Rhinitis = inflamed nose Sinusitis = inflamed Lymphadenopathy, esp. cervical 8.
Systemic Effects - Endocrine Subnormal temperature Cold clammy skin > esp. hands & feet Excessive perspiration 9.
Systemic Effects - Other Mouth weakness; Joint pains; Fatigue Anemia; Hypoxia = lack of oxygen Edema = swelling; Loss of weight Loss of appetite; Frequent urination 10.
Severe Cases Hallucinations; Manic depression
Organic
Mercury Exposure Fatigue > Chronic Fatigue Headache Forgetfulness Inability to concentrate Apathy Depression Outbursts of anger Decline of intellect
Later Findings Numbness/Tingling of hands, feet, lips Muscle weakness progresses > paralysis Dim or restricted vision Hearing difficulty; Speech disorders Dermatitis; General CNS dysfunctions Renal (kidney) damage Incoordination; Loss of memory Emotional instability
If you see a pattern of symptoms, please consider mercury as a possible cause. “In ALL cases of SUSPECTED mercury poisoning, treatment begins with IMMEDIATE TERMINATION of EXPOSURE. In some cases the symptoms of mercury exposure are reversible when exposure is eliminated.” Journal American Dental Association, December 1987. (Authors: P. L. Phan and Hoos)
Scientifically
Documented Excessive Exposure + Many/Any Symptoms = Suspicion of Poisoning
