Pregnancy

This is an exciting time for the expectant mother.  During this time we recognize many biomechanical changes that occur in the spine.  Approximately 25% of births in our country end in a Cesarean Section.  Chiropractic adjustments work naturally with the changes of the body to maintain proper structural and functional integrity.  Most mothers report that their deliveries are more comfortable, they experience a quicker labor, and have less pain while under chiropractic care.  Many chiropractors report that women who are under their care during all three trimesters have a less than 5% cesarean section rate.  Make sure that you and your friends enjoy the best pregnancy and delivery possible.  Take advantage or regular chiropractic care!

ADD/Hyperactivity

Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a condition that is often not properly evaluated or is misdiagnosed.  The most common treatment for ADHD is the prescription drug "Ritalin".  Ritalin is classified by the US Drug Enforcement agency as a schedule II narcotic, in the same class as cocaine, methadone and methamphetamine.   There are some natural alternatives to combat this problem.  Most conditions come from mental, emotional and chemical stress-related situations.  Instead of treating the symptom, we should look at the cause.  Children suffering from attention deficit disorder can often be helped by Chiropractic adjustments.   If your child or someone you know has ADHD, strongly consider chiropractic care. ​

Ear Infections

Otitis media or ear infections is a primary concern for many children.  Disgruntled parents often report that pediatricians are too quick to prescribe antibiotics and/or perform surgery.  There are many causes of red ears, other than a bacterial infection.  These include: Allergies, teething, fever and viral infection.  In all of these cases, antibiotics are not indicated.  In fact, the government recommends that antibiotics not be the first line of treatment because of drug resistant diseases and higher rates of recurrence.  Chiropractic adjustments help improve immune system functions and relax the neck muscles.  This allows fluid in the ears to drain properly and often provides a permanent solution!  Have your child checked today.  

Spinal Trauma and Nerve System Dysfunction

It is a well known fact that the brain and nerve system control and coordinate all the functions of the body.  If any nerve system interference is present, the body will not work toward its optimal potential.  Many types of spinal trauma cause interference and stress to the nerve system.  Chiropractic adjustments remove that stress (vertebral subluxation complex) and allows the body to reach its optimum potential, physically, mentally and socially.  

Antibiotics

Antibiotics were originally developed to save lives.  Unfortunately doctors continually prescribe them even if they were not justified.  As stated in the New England Journal of Medicine, "Health authorities are now putting out warnings about the overuse and misuse of antibiotic therapy.  Antibiotic overuse has caused a worldwide calamity due to the emergence of drug resistance diseases.  When overused or misused, they increase the risk of drug resistant infection.  True health and healing comes from within. According to, Dr. Lerner's book, One Minute Wellness, antibiotics lower resistance to disease and cause digestive problems. 

Breastfeeding

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics in a strongly worded policy, "Mothers should breast-feed their babies at least 12 months; and no other drink or solid food for the first six months".  Studies show nursing protects babies from a variety of ailments and lowers chances of getting ovarian and pre-menopausal breast cancer.  Give your child the greatest chance at health. Begin with proper nutrition from day one.​

Immunization

Immunization is not a chiropractic issue, but is a freedom of choice issue.  We encourage you to become informed about both sides of this controversial issue to make an educated decision for both you and your child.  We are led to believe that vaccinations are totally safe and effective; however, the facts show that millions of dollars are paid out each year by our government to compensate families of children that were brain damaged or died due to "vaccine reaction".  Additionally, we often see outbreaks of diseases in the vaccinated population.  The truth is, if vaccinations work, then the vaccinated child has nothing to fear from those not vaccinated. Get informed and remember:  God gave us the ability to develop our own immune system naturally!
