Since there are so many different types of chiropractic practices, a referral may be the way to find the best chiropractor for you. The next best way is looking at Google and Yelp reviews.
 
Below are my top recommendations for finding the best chiropractor based on my experience of referring patients to other chiropractors around the country.

1. Find a happy customer who can refer you their chiropractor.
 
Friends, family and colleagues are perhaps your best source. From there, you can view the chiropractor’s online reputation and reviews.

2. Find a chiropractor who has practiced for at least 3 years. 

Chiropractors with over 3 years experience have adjusted enough people to develop the skills, experience and practice intuition to deliver higher quality service..

3. Find a chiropractor who has access to x-rays.

Not all chiropractors will have x-rays in their office, but with image companies are popping up everywhere, x-rays can be taken inexpensively. Your chiropractor will be able to access your need for x-rays, which are typically taken for diagnosis and evaluating biomechanics (subluxation & alignment issues of the spine).

4. Find and alumni of Palmer College of Chiropractic or Life University.
